Tape provides permanent bond – not designed for temporary protection requirement

Acrylic adhesive provides performance in broad range of temperatures as well as excellent aging characteristics

Available Colors: Clear

Description

Our 705 Series Clear Polyethylene Tape is a 7.0 mil Low Density Film Tape coated on one side with a Specially Formulated Solvent Free Acrylic Adhesive System.

Its adhesive system provides high adhesion and cohesion which yields a permanent bond with virtually no edge bleed out. The tough polyethylene backing offers good abrasion and tear resistance. It is highly conformable and resistant to chemical deterioration. Outstanding moisture barrier properties. UV resistant. Excellent long term aging stability without yellowing. Tape will not crack or crease at low temperatures.

  • Used for various wrapping applications: water filter purification, pipe wrap, protective sealing
  • UV resistant and thus suitable for splicing, seaming & patching of films for agriculture or protective coverage of finished goods stored as outdoor inventory.
  • Designed for use in separation of dissimilar metals for insulation, roofing, metal fabrication, etc.
  • In narrow widths, can be used as a “Bond Breaker Tape” for concrete applications. Tape is applied to shallow cuts in concrete to minimize cracks & fissures during “settling” of recently poured & cured concrete.
