Description
This 4mil pipe thread tape is made from 99% virgin PTFE, pigmented yellow, and made specifically for gas line applications, such as butane, kerosene, nitrogen, propane, and natural gas.
Gas pipe tape offers better shred resistance and has an advanced ability to fill voids in thread imperfections. This enhanced sealing feature offers more of a guarantee against possibly volatile gases leaking from a pipe joint.
Temperature range from -450⁰F to 550⁰F and is available in two widths: ½” and ¾”. Made in a high density of 0.90 gm/cm³.
