7 Mil Glass Cloth
Rubber Thermosetting Adhesive (ETS-#170)
Description
A 7- Mil rubber thermosetting glass cloth that provides heat stable insulation for hot spot. The woven electrical grade cloth backing is recommended where resistance to high temperature and maintenance of mechanical strength is required. The tape has excellent thermal stability, high adhesion, and high tensile strength. Meets requirement of Mil -I-15126F TYPE GFT.

- Use where resistance to high temperature and maintenance of mechanical strength is required.
- Insulation class: 130 C (266oF).
- Dielectric strength 3,300 volts.
- Comparable: 3M 27, Permacel 21, CHR G551, Ideal 730.
- Meets UL requirements and MIL-I-15126F (Type GFT).

Description
For use in high temperature

U.L. recognized and flame retardant, high temperature silicone adhesive, abrasion resistant, solvent resistant, high tensile strength, and highly conformable. Used where heavy loads cause high heat breakdown of insulation.
Features
- Use where resistance to high temperature, abrasion, and maintenance of mechanical strength is required.
- For outer wrap for motor rewinds and protective wrapping for high temperature wire and cable.
- Also used for masking parts for plasma spray applications.
- Insulation class: 180oC.
- Comparable: 3M 69, Permacel 212, Ideal 7300.
- Meets UL requirements.
