Glass cloth tapes provide ultimate durability, strength, and abrasion resistance at moderate (rubber adhesive) to high temperatures (silicone adhesive).  Applications often involve extreme heat and conditions and require products that do not break down during use. 

170 – 7 mil Glass Cloth – Rubber Thermosetting Adhesive

  • Provides heat stable insulation for hot spot applications, such as motor leads, and switches, and controls.
  • Insulation class: 130°C (266°F)
  • Dielectric strength 3,300 volts.
  • Tensile Strength: 170 lb/in
  • Meets UL requirements and MIL-I-15126F (Type GFT).
  • Wound on 1" (66 ft) and 3" (60 yd) ID plastic core.

269 – 7 mil Glass Cloth – Silicone Thermosetting Adhesive

  • For outer wrap for motor rewinds and protective wrapping for high temperature wire and cable.
  • Also used for masking parts in plasma spray applications.
  • Insulation class: 180°C (356°F)
  • Dielectric strength 4,500 volts.
  • Tensile Strength: 120 lb/in
  • Wound on 3" ID plastic core.
