Bonding Tape - Polyester Carrier
PETA468
- Plasticizer-resistant “banner tape” for seaming vinyl banners or other similar demanding applications requiring a high tack acrylic adhesive suitable for highly plasticized substrates
- 1 mil polyester carrier with 3 mils solvent-borne acrylic adhesive each side, 7 mil total thickness not counting liner
- Translucent standard but black available
- 70 oz./in. adhesion per PSTC-1
- Roll length is 36 yards
PETA163
- Hand-tearable conformable high-end product featuring a special flexible biaxially-oriented .5 mil polyester with 3 mils solvent-borne acrylic each side at 162 oz./in., total 6.5 mils
- Capable of bonding low surface energy substrates
- Excellent for plastic extrusions, irregular surfaces, metal profile extrusions and decorative trim
- Clear product on super-calendered Kraft liner
PETA604
- .5 mil polyester, total 3.1 mils with 1.3 mils solvent-borne acrylic each side at 70 oz./in.
- Features cold-resistant -40°F to 250°F temperature range and a UV stabilizer system
- Good on many substrates, including laminating dissimilar metals, and effective on polycarbonates
- Semi-bleached Kraft liner

- Designed for so-called “permanent/removable” applications, such as processing fabricated parts
- Differentially-coated .5 mil polyester with permanent acrylic at 70 oz./in. on the unwind side and 35 oz./in. acrylic on the linered side
- Minimum application temp. 50°F and service temp. 0-150° F continuous
- Not intended for use on paper-based substrates
PETR148
- Economical but high performance .5 mil polyester with 1.4 mil synthetic hotmelt rubber each side, totaling 3.3 mils with 80 oz./in. peel adhesion
- Continuous temperature range 10°F to 170°F
- Versatile quick-stick product for use on foams, plastics, metals and composite materials
